Project: "Developing Innovative Thinking for Processed Seafood Entrepreneurs to Address Global Warming"

On November 26-27, 2024, Dr. Suwat Nuankhao, Director of the Ranong Provincial Education Center, delivered the opening remarks at the "Developing Innovative Thinking for Processed Seafood Entrepreneurs to Address Global Warming" project. The event was held at the Kaew Chao Chom Conference Room, Ranong Provincial Education Center.

The ceremony was presided over by Associate Professor Dr. Tanapol Kortana, Chair of the Doctor of Philosophy Program at the College of Innovation and Management. Dr. Tanapol also served as a keynote speaker on the topic of "Developing an Innovative Mindset for Entrepreneurs." Additional speakers included:

• Associate Professor Dr. Supattra Pranee, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, College of Innovation and Management

• Associate Professor Dr. Chaithanaskorn Phawitpiriyakliti

• Dr. Chomphu Saisema, Faculty Member of the Doctor of Philosophy Program

Objectives of the Project:

1. To enhance the innovative thinking capabilities of processed seafood entrepreneurs.

2. To encourage processed seafood entrepreneurs to play the role of community innovators.

3. To develop processed seafood communities into innovation-driven communities.

4. To build networks and mechanisms that support innovative thinking within the community.

This project aims to foster innovative thinking among processed seafood entrepreneurs to address global warming. The activities align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically:

• Goal 1: End poverty in all its forms everywhere.

• Goal 8: Promote sustained, inclusive, and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment, and decent work for all.
