“True learning comes from taking action and evolving into an entrepreneur.”

Asst. Prof. Dr. Panida Nilarun, Associate Dean for Research and Academic Services at the College of Innovation and Management, shared insights on student development strategies that bridge the gap between "Research" and "Next-Gen Entrepreneurship."

Two Strategic Dimensions

The college’s approach focuses on two key areas:

  1. Promoting Faculty Research: Enhancing academic depth and innovation.
  2. Student Participation in Research Projects: Providing students with opportunities to develop skills through hands-on practice, backed by funding to support their career paths and entrepreneurial journeys.

Empowering the Next Generation of Startups

In the current fiscal year, the college has launched the “Student Entrepreneurship Development Project (Startup).” Under this initiative:

  • Students collaborate with faculty members to develop project proposals.
  • Projects are presented for selection to receive funding from the Research and Development Institute (RDI).

A Proud Milestone

A recent success story involves students from the Digital Marketing program, who successfully secured funding to transform their research ideas into a tangible Startup venture.

From Theory to Sustainable Practice

This approach reflects the university’s commitment to driving “Theory into Action.” By working closely with communities, the program aims to create real value and provide sustainable solutions to societal challenges.
