For Wat Phra That Pong Nok
It is a royal monastery located at
Village No. 4, Ban Pong Nok, Dan Makham
Tia Subdistrict. Dan Makham Tia District
Kanchanaburi that is beautiful The
temple area and nearby areas are ancient
Dharma sites. which enshrines the relics
and a replica of the Buddha's
footprint which is an antique found on
the hill of Wat Phra That Pong Nok The
appearance is around a pair of
Buddha's feet. Carved from various
auspicious stones In the middle of the
King's feet is the image of the sun,
the moon and a pair of auspicious
swastika symbols. which this footprint
has never been seen anywhere before It
is assumed to be thousands of years old.
Wat Phra That Pong Nok is surrounded by
many large and small mountains and
overlooks the Tanao Sri Mountain Range
in a very beautiful distance. Inside the
temple on the top of Pong Nok Hill,
there is an inverted bell-shaped chedi
named “Phra Chulamanee Chedi
Boromasari Relics” which has a
beautiful landscape, with a pond of Bok
Khorani, a standing Buddha image in the
middle of the pond and a Sri Maha Bodhi
tree. The pagoda courtyard is a scenic
point of Dan Makham Tia Subdistrict. The
way up to the pagoda is being built as a
serpent wall. From the way up from the
temple courtyard to the Phra Chulamanee
Sri Mahathat on the top of the mountain,
the body is 1 meter wide and the length
from head to tail is 1,222 meters. It is
large and very long. Which the temple is
open to tourists and people to visit and
pay respect to the sacred things every
day between 09.00 - 17.30
