CIM Promotes Staff Development through Workshop on Social Return on Investment (SROI), Batch 2

The College of Innovation and Management (CIM), Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, places great importance on the continuous professional development of its personnel. The initiative aims to enhance knowledge and skills that can be applied to daily operations and organizational development in response to the rapidly changing context of today’s society.

Assistant Professor Dr. Chonlaphassorn Sitthiworongchai, Dean of the College of Innovation and Management, assigned Ms. Watsamon Saenthaweesuk, a lecturer in the Innovation in Organizational Leadership Development Program, and Mrs. Phatthanan Rojrungruangwat, Head of the Research and Academic Services Development Division, to participate in the workshop “Social Return on Investment (SROI), Batch 2.”

The workshop was held on July 31–August 1 and August 6–7, 2026, at the S.D. Avenue Hotel, Bangkok, and was organized by the Research and Development Institute, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, under the project “Strengthening the Economy and Enhancing the Quality of Life of Communities for Sustainable Development.”

Enhancing Knowledge and Skills in SROI

The workshop aimed to enhance participants’ knowledge, understanding, and practical skills in using the Social Return on Investment (SROI) framework. SROI is an important approach for assessing the value and returns generated by projects across various dimensions, particularly social outcomes and impacts.

The training enables participants to apply SROI knowledge and tools to systematically plan, monitor, and evaluate projects, generate evidence-based information for decision-making, and clearly demonstrate the value and impact of their work on communities and society.

The participation of CIM personnel in this workshop reflects the College’s strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development, as well as its support for applying social impact assessment knowledge to research, academic services, and local development projects. These efforts are intended to enhance operational effectiveness and generate tangible value for communities.
