
On November 12, 2024, Asst. Prof. Dr. Panida Ninaroon, a Master of Business Administration Program Innovation in Human Capital Management and Entrepreneurship researcher, joins the project to develop safe and fair public transportation services for consumer protection in the Western Region. The results of a data study, presented by Dr. Pawinthana Charoenboon, a lecturer from Mahidol University, aid in the development of public transportation proposals in Kanchanaburi Province's economic area. The project aims to create safe and equitable public transportation services to safeguard consumers in the western region. Supported by the Council of Consumer Organizations in Kanchanaburi Province, the details of the above study are as follows:
1. Public transportation behavior of the public It was found that the majority of them use buses for general personal business purposes and use public transportation alone. The majority of tourists use the train for tourism and public transportation for groups of two or more friends.
2. Opinions on the potential of public transportation services in Kanchanaburi Province are at a high level. Upon the completion of the activity, researchers proposed policy recommendations and organized an academic forum to foster cooperation in the development of Kanchanaburi Province's public transportation system.
